Everyone wants a perfect wedding. So, couples want to make this celebration more fun and memorable. After exchanging your vows and the ceremony, your reception would be the highlight of the celebration. So, since you want to make it more fun, her are some tips on how to make your reception fun and surprising.

A dull and lousy wedding is most probably the worst nightmare for a bride. Of course, couples want to make sure that the party is entertaining and fun and they want their guests to enjoy. A lot of couples today are concentrating on new things and ways to incorporate fun into their wedding reception such as playing games.

Start the celebration with a dance. While principal and secondary sponsors enter the reception, the host will then request them to keep on dancing and jive to the song. They are called as the dancing entourage. It is funny in the sense that not everyone can't dance and has no passion for dancing, while others are trying their best to move their hips just to pleasure everyone.

When it is the turn of the married couple, you can also surprise your guests with a dance or a song number. The surprising part here is that, not everyone knows that you are going to perform on your wedding day especially if it is also their first time to hear you sing or see you dance on the dance floor.

Next is the tossing of the garter. Instead of using the basic way of tossing the garter, why not make a twist on that part to make it more fun. Think about a game that would everybody laugh and smile. The game goes like this. Single men are gathered in front and requested to remove their left shoe to a box. The couple with then choose a shoe. The garter will then be passed to the owner of the shoe.

When it comes to the bouquet tossing, forget that typical way of passing the bouquet to a single lady. Instead, play a nice game. This is called the banana game. Gather all single ladies in front but the relatives of the man who won the garter are excepted. That's a good thing. The guy will will sit on a chair with his hands on the back and put the banana between his legs.

Ladies will dance to the beat of the music . Once the music stops, they will grab the banana from the thigh of the guy. The one who grabs the banana first will be out from the game. The remaining single ladies will continue to play until the last lady standing will win the bouquet and the next bride.

Since, a single lady and single man are now chosen, they now play another game called, do what I do. This means, no matter what the couples are doing they will also perform it. For example, if the couple kissed each other, the partners will also kiss each other.

Usually, the party ends with a colorful fireworks in the sky, but to make it more memorable, why not present a dance number with your spouse. This is more exciting on your part and to your guests. You can perform with the beat of a reggae song, a salsa, rumba and the best one is the hip hop remix.
